Employees Contribute to College and Career Fair at George Rogers Clark High School
(Winchester, Ky.)--Superior Home Improvements attended the George Rogers Clark College and Career Fair Friday in an effort to share the construction and construction management industries with students of Clark County School System.
The Fair, which was sponsored by the Clark County Community Education Program, the Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce and the George Rogers Clark Youth Services Center, enabled middle school and high school students an in-depth, inside look at businesses and colleges located throughout the state of Kentucky.
The Superior Home Improvements booth offered students insights not only on the building and labor divisions of the construction industry, but also on those pertaining to business management and administration.
"Often times, individuals unfamiliar with the construction industry view the field strictly through a labor-intensive spotlight," said Jimmy Hall, Marketing Director at Superior Home Improvements. "Our goal at the Career Fair was to offer students a Behind-The-Scenes look at the administrative work necessary for the beginning, middle and ending phases of every project we pursue."
